Why show off your messy room when you can broadcast from Paris, the beach, or even outer space. The virtual background feature allows you to display an image or video as your background during a Zoom Meeting. This feature works best with a green screen and uniform lighting in order to distinguish between you and your background.

Enabling Virtual Background during a Meeting:
- In a Zoom meeting, click the ^ arrow right of the Start/Stop Video button
- Click Choose a Virtual Background
- You will see a few default backgrounds provided by Zoom
- You can choose one of those by clicking on it, and it will automatically change your screen as well
- If you want to upload a custom photo to use as your background, click the + icon and add image
- Choose the image you want to upload, it will appear as an option to select
- To delete unwanted photos, click the X on the top right corner
If prompted, click Download for the virtual background without a green screen package.
Change your virtual background (desktop application):
- Open the Zoom application and sign in
- Click the Settings icon (upper right)
- On the left menu, choose Virtual Background
- You will see a few default backgrounds provided by Zoom
- You can choose one of those by clicking on it, and it will automatically change your screen as well
